About Nancy Hedlund

As an advisor, Nancy Hedlund, PhD, MBA, RPh, brings a unique combination of analytical expertise, industry knowledge, and strategic insight. With advanced training in health economics and outcomes research, she excels at synthesizing complex data and translating it into compelling value stories that resonate with stakeholders across the healthcare landscape. She partners this with 15 years of clinical health system experience to devise strategies that are both on target and practical.

Dr. Hedlund has partnered with organizations of all sizes, ranging from early-stage startups to top-50 global life sciences companies. Her team has guided clients through critical projects by providing both strategic insights and tactical hands-on support to enable market access.

Her professional portfolio includes leadership roles with:

She also has nearly 15 years of clinical experience as a clinical and operations pharmacist. Nancy has built and led cross-functional teams, collaborating with medical and marketing leaders to develop operational and evidence-based strategies that improve patient care and enable product adoption.

Biotechnology Commercialization and Life Sciences Instructor

A recognized thought leader, Dr. Hedlund serves as adjunct faculty within the McCormick College of Engineering at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She has developed curriculum and currently teaches a Fundamentals of Biotech Commercialization lecture course and a Biotechnology Commercialization Practicum for first year masters in biotechnology students.Nancy is an active member of several professional organizations, including ISPOR, AMCP, Women in BIO (WIB), HerCSuite, and RxRoundtable. She is also a credentialed consultant with AmplerExAdvisory and A-Connect.
